5th Annual CCHA Halloween Bash

Ghouls, Goblins, and Witches too…we are having our 5th Annual CCHA Halloween Bash and inviting you. Something’s a brewing, and it will certainly be ghoulishly fun…..a wicked good time for everyone. We will be serving up “Spooktacular” refreshments and witches brew….wear your costume, there will be prizes too!  So fly on over to our Haunted Mest Manor for a creepy afternoon of food, fun, games, and a little fear….Halloween night is drawing near! Mest Manor Painting Project

Painting project

The Mest Manor Public Area Painting Project will begin on MONDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2015. The painting contractor will be prepping, priming and painting the following areas: All hallways, stairwells, dining room, community room, recreation/beauty shop room, public bathrooms, laundry room and all trash chute rooms.

NOTE: Please plan to attend one of the Mest Manor Tenant Meeting schedule on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16TH for additional information regarding the project.

 

FHN Flu Shots 2015

With flu season fast approaching, the Freeport Health Network will be offering flu shots at our host site of Mest Manor        (525 Third Street, Dining Room) as follows:

DATE:   Thursday, October 8th

TIME:   1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Medical cards and photo IDs may be requested)

COST:   High Dose will be $52.00 for persons over 65 if not covered by Medicare Part B or Medicare Replacement Plan accepted by FHN. Persons under 65 will be give the Quadrivalent vaccine with an out of pocket cost of $40.00. No insurance plan claims can be processed other than Medicare Part B or Medicare Replacement Plan.

Influenza (“flu”) is a contagious disease that spreads around the U.S. every winter, usually be-tween October and May. Flu is caused by the influenza virus, and can be spread by coughing, sneezing, and close contact. Symptoms come on suddenly and may last several days. They include: fever, chills, sore throat, muscle aches, fatigue, cough, headache, runny or stuffy nose. FLU VACCINE is the best protection we have from flu and its complications.
